Other Information

The main purpose of Community Councils (as a statutory tier of local government) is to represent and express the views of the residents in their area to local authorities and other public bodies and services.  They also have a statutory role in the consideration of local planning applications.  All community councils are sent a weekly list of new planning applications by their local council.
